On behalf of the City of Albany, it is my pleasure to invite you to join us as we celebrate the 18th anniversary of the Columbus Parade and Italian Festival.

I am proud to be the Honorary Chairperson of this celebration, which not only commemorates the heritage and innumerable contributions of Italian-Americans in the Capital Region, but also appropriately recognizes Christopher Columbus' discovery of the New World. As in past years, this parade and festival promises to be a most enjoyable day!

I look forward to seeing you on Saturday, October 10th, for a day filled with fun, delicious food and entertainment in the true Italian tradition.
