Albany's 18th Annual Columbus Parade & Italian Festival is one of the largest celebrations of its kind in Upstate New York, recognizing the contributions and the heritage of Italian-Americans, in conjunction with the national holiday celebrating the discovery of America by Christopher Columbus.
Festival

An authentic Italian Festival by the Washington Park Lakehouse and throughout the park. Dance to the music of TS Ensemble. Sip a Cappuccino or Espresso or fine Italian wine. The 2009 festival features a special tribute to Frank Sinatra, under the direction of Albany's Park Playhouse.

An expanded area for crafters and other vendors is part of the 18th Annual Columbus Parade & Italian Festival that returns to Washington Park for a fun-filled day from 12 Noon to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10.
